Sophie L.
Content Writer & Stylist
hisophie@styelwithvibes.com
Hi, I’m Sophie. I handle styling ideas and most of the content you read here.
I’m 28 years old and I’m from Santa Clara, USA. Fashion has always been part of my life, but not in a complicated or high-end way. I always liked simple dressing, trying outfits, mixing pieces, and seeing how small changes can make a big difference.
At some point, I realized I wanted to understand fashion properly, not just follow it. That’s why I decided to study it.
My Education Journey
I completed my Fashion Styling course under the Department of Fashion Studies (FS) at BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT). This step changed how I see fashion.
Before that, I used to choose outfits based on what looks good. But during my studies, I learned the deeper side—how fabrics behave, how colors work together, how body shapes affect styling, and how to create balance in an outfit.
It wasn’t only theory. We worked on practical projects, styling sessions, and real ideas. That helped me understand mistakes and improve step by step.
My Work at StylewithVibes
After finishing my course, I joined StylewithVibes as a Stylist and Content Writer. I wanted a place where I could share what I learned in a simple way.
Here, I focus on:
- Writing content that people can easily understand
- Sharing styling ideas that actually work in real life
- Helping people feel less confused about fashion
I don’t like making things complicated. Most people don’t need expert-level fashion knowledge. They just need clear and simple guidance.
How I Think About Fashion
For me, fashion is not about trends only. It’s about comfort, confidence, and understanding yourself.
I don’t believe in strict rules. Everyone has a different lifestyle, budget, and comfort level. So styling should match that.
When I write or create styling ideas, I always think:
- Can someone actually wear this outside?
- Is it comfortable enough for daily use?
- Does it help someone feel confident?
If the answer is no, then it’s not useful.
Why I Write
I write because many people feel unsure about their style. They think fashion is hard or only for certain people. That’s not true.
I try to explain things in simple words. No heavy terms, no confusion. Just clear ideas that anyone can try.
Sometimes I share tips. Sometimes I talk about common mistakes. Sometimes I just explain what works and what doesn’t.
If someone reads my content and feels a little more confident choosing their outfit, that means a lot to me.

Asif Arafat
Content Writer & Textile Engineer
hiasif@styelwithvibes.com
Hi, I’m Asif. I focus on the technical side of fashion—things like fabrics, yarn, and how clothes are actually made.
I’m 24 years old and I’m from Bangladesh. My interest in textiles started early, but it became more serious when I decided to study textile engineering.
My Education and Learning
I’m currently studying Textile Engineering at BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT). This field is not just about clothes, it’s about the full process behind them.
I’ve learned about:
- Yarn production
- Fabric types and structure
- Dyeing and finishing processes
- Garment manufacturing
This knowledge helps me understand how a piece of clothing is created from the beginning to the final product.
My Experience So Far
While studying, I’ve also been involved in different programs and activities, including international exposure. These experiences helped me see how the textile industry works in different places.
I got the chance to learn from real environments, not just books. That made my understanding more practical.
My Role at StylewithVibes
I joined StylewithVibes while still studying. I wanted to share the technical side of fashion in a way people can understand.
Most people only see the final product. They don’t know what goes behind it. That’s where I come in.
Here, I focus on:
- Explaining fabrics in simple terms
- Sharing knowledge about cloth quality
- Helping people understand what they are buying
- Writing about textile processes in an easy way
How I Approach My Work
I don’t like using complicated engineering language when I write. It makes things hard to understand.
Instead, I try to explain things simply.
For example, when I talk about fabric, I don’t just say technical names. I explain how it feels, how it behaves, and when it should be used.
Because at the end of the day, people don’t need technical terms. They need clarity.
Why My Work Matters
Many people buy clothes without knowing what they are made of. That often leads to wrong choices.
If you understand fabric, you can:
- Choose better quality clothes
- Know what lasts longer
- Avoid discomfort
- Spend money more wisely
That’s why I share what I know.
What We Believe
At StylewithVibes, we don’t try to make fashion look complicated or out of reach.
We believe:
- Fashion should be simple and practical
- Knowledge should be easy to understand
- Style should match real life, not just trends
Sophie focuses on how you wear clothes.
I focus on what those clothes are made of.
Together, we try to give a full picture—style and substance.
We are still learning, still growing, and still improving. But everything we share comes from real study, real experience, and honest understanding.
If you are here to learn, explore, or just get better at choosing what you wear, you are in the right place.
